Boris is Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Hyperoptic, responsible for setting the overall business strategy, ensuring its execution and making sure business transforms to sustain its growth.
Previously a member of McKinsey’s Recovery & Transformation Services and High Tech, Media, & Telecom (TMT) Practice, he has advised clients primarily on turnarounds and other challenging organizational and operational changes. He also supported clients in financial services, energy, utility, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and other sectors. In this role, he assumed a number of interim C-level roles.
From his base in Belgrade, he has worked on engagements throughout Southeast Europe as well in the Netherlands, Austria, Finland, and far beyond—for example, in South Africa, Jamaica, and across Asia. In recent years, he has led mainly large recovery and transformation projects focusing primarily on high tech, advanced industries, and telecommunications, but also across other industries such as mining and banking. He has also driven studies related to business unit strategy, service operations, and data and analytics strategy for mobile and wireless operators, network equipment manufacturers, and retail banks.
